Overview: 

  • Partner with CHWC to improve our website's accessibility, user friendliness, mobile responsiveness, and tech ecosystem integration.
  • Work with CHWC's existing WordPress site or suggest improved options based on our needs.
  • Host/manage CHWC's Intranet database.
  • Support CHWC in updating and improving our website to align with extensive brand work/updates that are currently in progress.

Website Vendor - June 15th

Objective 

The main purpose of this project is to make our website more accessible, user-friendly, mobile-friendly and integrated into other platforms we use on our day-to-day.  

We have the basic WordPress knowledge to create new pages, add/update images stock and add HTML coding from other platforms/applications. We are open to other platforms or suggestions; however, we want to be able to execute minor updates in-house.  

Our current web developer also hosts our intranet, so we need to transition this database to the new vendor, for the time being, please see Core Functionality section.  

We are currently going under a rebranding project, and we anticipate website functionality and graphics might change once the rebranding project is completed later this fall.  

Scope of Work 

Services we are seeking include:    

 1. Monthly Services needed 

  • WordPress hosting and managed services 
  • Monthly website report/services (updates, backups, uptime, security, performance) 
  • Plug-ins updates and theme within WordPress 
  • Up to 30min updates or consulting time (use it or lose it) 

2. Desired Core functionality 

  • Homes sale listing 
  • Event/tour registration. Potentially charge fee through Stripe 
  • Website accessibility per Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 
  • Integration to other platforms such as: MailChimp, Salesforce, DocuSign templates among others.  
  • SEO functionality. Initial suggestion from web developer team, monthly managed by CHWC staff. 
  • Knack hosting (CHWC Intranet) - Although we might transition it to SharePoint 
  • e-commerce store (merchandise, event registration) Potentially charge fee through Stripe 
  • Global intake application for services that will integrate with current information systems.  
  • Vendor portal (registration, integration with QB, ability to upload/sent documents securely) 
  • User-friendly donation page (see challenges) 
  • In-house new pages creation
