Caroline Meek grew up in Wyandotte County and graduated from Sumner Academy of Arts Science with a bilingual International Baccalaureate diploma. After completing her Bachelor's degree in English & Creative Writing at the University of Iowa, she returned to KCK and got involved with pottery at EPIC Clay Studio, just a couple miles down the street from her childhood home. Now, she serves as Co-Manager and Outreach Coordinator for EPIC and helps coordinate the Third Friday Art Walk. When she's not covered in clay, Caroline enjoys going on long walks, reading all sorts of books and poems, and taking care of her 80+ houseplants.
