About Charles

Charles is a carpenter and a fisherman who has spent most of his life in the Kansas City area. An interest in drawing led him to pursue an Associate degree in Drafting Design, and he later received his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science at Texas A&M University. After a short stint in Texas, he returned to Kansas City to take on a range of home construction positions including Estimator for a Water and Fire Damage Repair contractor, and Superintendent in New Home Construction. After many years of involvement from outside of the organization, Charles took a position building homes for CHWC in 2013 and is now the Director of Construction Services.

In the past, he spent much of his free time was spent with his kids at soccer games and dance competitions. These days, he enjoys traveling with his wife as well as time spent in the country and on the water fishing with his brother.
