About LaCherish

LaCherish holds a B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Donnelly College and is an alumna of Sumner Academy of Arts & Sciences. She began her organizing career during college, leading student initiatives and coordinating campus activities. Eventually, she became the Student Life Coordinator, enhancing student engagement by building relationships and aligning the interests of students and faculty.

Motivated to contribute to the investment and growth of KCK, she joined CHWC in 2021. LaCherish leads our community initiatives, including the arts and urban agriculture programs, ensuring they resonate with our community and add vibrancy to neighborhoods. She also builds relationships with our neighborhood leaders and community partners, understanding their needs and supporting their endeavors. Additionally, she manages our volunteer program. In her free time, she enjoys planning her life in spreadsheets, joking with her family, and practicing her freestyle rap skills.
