Kate Haugan is a Kansas native who joined CHWC as Finance Manager in 2024. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas, her Master of Business Administration from UMKC, and is currently working on her Master of Science in Accountancy from UMKC. Her background in storytelling serves as a natural fit for communicating the story of an organization through numbers! As Finance Manager, Kate is the hyperlocal guru of grants management, budget reporting, audits, and compliance. When she isn’t doing homework, Kate loves word puzzles, learning languages, books (audio and IRL!), and her three very weird cats: Possum, Snick, and Lucy Liu.
